Steam Pressure Reducing Stations

Designers often find it economical to generate and distribute steam at higher pressures, then reduce the pressure close to the point of use. If high-pressure steam is required for some other purpose in the facility, then a pressure-reducing station to supply the lower pressure loads makes sense.
